Hello, my name is Sarah Patnode and I started 5MiniMeals because I finally found an eating plan that worked for me.  You name the diet – I’ve tried it.  Atkins worked, until my bread break-down.  I was never sure if I was really in the Zone.  Juicing was nutritious, but the juicer doesn’t travel well.  It seemed that no matter what I tried, the lbs would keep adding onto my waist, hips, thighs, back of my arms, and keep going. 

It was time for a lifestyle change, but I had to remain true to myself:

1.   I like to eat

2.   I like to travel

3.   No food restrictions

After doing some research, I decided to try eating five small meals.  It’s easy to try anything for a few days because of the excitement of doing something new – so I committed to two weeks.  I felt great and lost 5 lbs in the first 2 weeks.  “Amazing,” I thought, “I can eat and lose weight”. 

The biggest challenge was planning for the mini meals – especially since I travel a lot.  So I learned a few tricks which make 5MiniMeals work on airplanes, in your car, or choosing from your favorite fast-food joints.
